Reply:Nice graduation present.
Reply:I have my machine chopped so it has clearance to be lifted in and out without damaging the sides. A bottle rack with built in storage. Also a pack rat tool box for low clearance and mass storage. Also I am getting Eco reels for my leads going to go on the left side of my box. Just a simple neat way a set up. Attached Images
Reply:just let the company give you a list of stuff you need dude! usually the maintenance gigs do that, they'll say you need these different tools and such, wrenches, hammers, chisels, you name it.
Reply:Bostick, are you referring to shortening the exciter cover when you say "chopped"? Or did you actually shorten the frame and hood somehow?-------------------------Chemetron AC/DC 300 HFSnap-On MM300L Lincoln SP140 Lincoln AC/DC 225g Lincoln SA200 Lincoln SA200 Miller Bobcat 225GVictor torchesH&M and Mathey beveling machinesMcElroy Plastic pipe fusion
Reply:Both the actual machine is chopped 4 or 5 inches and the armature cap is shortened to flush re welded and smoothed over and painted. overall the total chop is by 8 inches. I plan next to do a vertical chop and reduce the height of the machine to 28 inches total.Last edited by Bostick101; 08-24-2013 at 11:50 AM.

Reply:Yeah I hear you EVERYTHING on my rig is locked up tight or hidden away. Granted they could get a cutting torch or bolt cutters and start going to town but by that time ill be drawing a bead on them with my firearm. Plus I put everything on my rig pre planned. My fab table lays flat between my box and bottle rack with my jack stands over that. Would be hella noisy in a quiet texas night.
Reply:ive thought about that. but that gives me some ideas. is the best truck for your money?
Reply:rephrase your question. What is the best truck for your money? I don't get what you asked. |
