I am new to this forum and new to welding. I have an oxy ace torch setup with Victor regulators. For some reason when I open the tank valve on either tank (oxy or ace) the hose pressure can not be adjusted with the hose valve. Hose pressure just continues to go up until the pressure is so high that the over pressure release valve opens and I can hear the air (or gas) coming out of the regulator. This happens no matter what I do to the hose valve. I turn it all the way to the right; pressure keeps going up. I turn it all the way to the left; same thing. What is really strange is that as far as I know they both (oxy and ace regulators) started doing this at the same time. Does anybody have any idea what is going on here? Thanks in advance
