Any ideas on welding leads for service truck

Well my new truck came with both leads in the bed, I am going to build your basic racks that you see on all the welding trucks, just plate with pipe to wrap around, I have a box that I am going to make a frame to bolt everything toThe problem is I need a way to protect them from theft without it being to painful to remove each time, I thought about a hinged lid that folds down that could double as a wire brush and chipping hammer holder but I have never seen them you guys have any ideas
Reply:Ive seen ironworkers wrap a steel sling through everything a couple times and lock it. Makes it a pain to unravel. still possible to steal, but more of a hassle. you could make cover to shroud the whole wraped up lead holder that secures with a lock..

Reply:Im not a huge fan of this particular look, but its a thought.. Looks like the dimond plate is locked around the reels. Must be a hinge in there somewhere. Attached Images
