Hi guys. My nephew found a bernard 2000 in my dads garage and was hoping to find out more info about it. It's pretty old I think. Is it a welder or just a cooling pump for a welder? Is it even worth the time getting up and running? If NO, does it have any value or should he toss it? What can you guys tell me about this? thanks!
Reply:That is only a cooler. Whether is works or not is a big question. You would need to completely do a clean out, refill with water, prime the pump, and see what happens. I like the resevoir type. Did you remove the pump?Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.

Reply:Most common use is with TIG welder torches, but I have seen them used to pump coolant for cutting also.... depending on the condition of the resevoir It could make someone a great older Cooler setup (not worth a whole pile of cash but worth it not to toss)Millermatic 30aMillermatic 210Miller thunderbolt 225 ac/dc/ccMiller HF15-1-wg tigLincoln ranger 10(honda powered)Cebora 175 mig Too damn many tools but oddly not enough......
