Finished this last night. Not much room to work with. I definately have more confidence welding w transformer based machine. I did this with an everlast 250ex inverter. The customer was happy anyway. Reply:looks good man. Play with your settings on the machine and that inverter will walk all over the transformers. But i does take some time to get use to the inverter. i run a synchro right now but will be getting a 250ex here shortly, just waiting on a check in the mail..... but other wise looks good.
Reply:If you want it to feel like a transformer machine, set the waveform to "sine wave" instead of square wave and turn the frequency down to 60 and you'll be set up just like the old machines

Reply:They recommend not using pure tungsten with an inverter. But rather 2%. Turn the machine to dc + if you wanna ball your tungsten, then set it back to ac.

Reply:I'm like you, I like pure in a transformer. You will learn to like the inverter and will also see the need for both. I like Orange Tungsten in my inverter it gives me a good round end like a fresh pure.www.performancealuminumfabrication.com
