33 Foot end dump trailer mod project

Have been working on this old end dump trailer on and off for the last week and a half in between service calls.Owner wanted the door switch to a side swing instead of the top swing and the sides extended 2.5 feet and sheeted with the used 10g he supplied.Top portion of the extension is 3x3 and then the uprights are 1.5x3....prepped the trailer so most of it has been mig welded and prepped the used rusty sheets of 10g aswell.  Rear door was arc welded where the hinges have been put on.  The back door was origionally on an angle so we had to add material so the door would be mounted striaght up and down rather than tilted at the top inwards.Here are some crappy cell phone pics I took at the end of the day on friday.After we get it out of the shop we will be putting a beam across the top, one foot above the walls at the back for strength

Reply:The customer is going to be using the trailer for scrap metal hauling, and as stated above it's so nothing jams up when dumping.
