Another day at Nine Iron

Taking a break after working 4 weeks straight. Paperwork, sorting through images, etc. I don't post a bunch but figured I'd share some of what pumps through the shop.First up- some large planters. Made from 11g steel trapezoids. Welded inside, outside, blended, metalized and powdercoated. 2' square at the base, 3' square at the top and 5' tall. They have a 1 1/2" double return on the lip. Made 8 of them. Made a roller/trolley type apparatus to ease the 5' runs..

Reply:They'll get some sego palms and flowers in them. (4) 3/4" bolts anchor them down. And another 4" hole in the bottom which attaches to a sleeve with lighting, irrigation and drainage.

Reply:Finished the rolling cabinets for my customer. 80" tall, 48" wide and 22" deep. They wanted full access to contents so the door is removable and hangs on the back when in use.The above posted fixture made the shelving frames. Then the structure was welded together and skinned.500' of aluminum tubing10, 4x12 aluminum sheets1200 rivets Now, time for more aluminum. And yes, they're super cold...
Reply:Here's a gate we just installed. The original was rotten, had been painted a dozen times and the customer didn't really care for it.Original-New rendering-Prefit-Stainless strike to protect powdercoating-And finish-Lighting wasn't great but the gate is a pretty cool silver powdercoat. They were very happy with it.
