My "shop"... but it works.

Second post that I've started We're full-time RV'ers. Found a place in TX to call 'home-base'. Originally Tennesseans, then Coloradoans, then on to California for 3 1/2 yrs. As you can imagine, we had to really downsize when we decided on the RV lifestyle. I retired in '06. The wife has been working and we've been moving "because we can" with her work. But we're staying in TX now.On to the shop... since we downsized so much, I only kept the basic automotive and necessary repair tools. But now that I've got the space (as little as it is) I am back to old habits and tools   The welder is a nu2me MM185 w/cart I built. Yeah, needs to be painted. Due time...Main shop area is 20' X 20' carport. Then there is the 6' X 20' storage, W/D, Utility sink room. Ain't much but it sho is good being able to piddle and putt around as I want to! Reply:NEATO!!!  No carport but I have a big market umbrella that fits in my pipe stand for outside work on gravel. Next you should build a chop saw setup . Like the idea of YOU BEING RETIRED AND WIFE WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reply:Nice shop . Mines the same size. Let me tell you it will fill up fast thoughthe more you piddle . I wish i had the 6 x 20 storage like yours. I cant build on though were about to move. Hope i can find a house with a nice shop. Very nice cart also.

Reply:Thanks, Mr. MHmmm 'filling up fast', that's the problem. The man that owns the property (now a close friend) has a "bone yard" & big shed/shop at his house. We go out there any time that I need material. Tubing, round pipe, there's even a press out there... and yes I have plans on restoring it.
