My Lincoln PowerMig 216.. It is literally brand new, maybe 4 months old. Pull the Trigger, the machine *clicks* and the wire does not feed. The Drive Rolls Don't even move.I took the hood off of the machine, trying to find absolutely any loose connections or connections that are not 'pushed' in fully to make better contact..I figured that maybe it would be the connections on the *PowerMig 216 Gun*, and had purchased a whole new gun & cable. The Drive rolls are not too tight - as they have been working perfectly every time I've used it. The Cable and Gun are brand New, and The Machine shows no wear & tear. I don't know what to do.

Reply:It is under a 3 year warranty. The Machine is never moved, it sits stationary. (couldn't be loose wiring or connections) Used fairly often but for light duty tasks. Worked perfectly fine the day before, and I was fabbing up my Exhaust system for the truck with it - so it could never have overheated or overloaded. This is just one of those things where it just wont work, and there is absolutely no reason for why it would be like that. Never really had to send anything away for warranty problems, so I'm wondering - once I take it in, how long will it be until I get it back. Handiest of Things those Mig Welders are!
