Just a curiosity question , I don't own either ( i have an old aead I just got  ) but I see references to the Bobcat g  and nt models ,  what is the difference between them ? Is it a performance difference , age difference , difference in how they are powered ?   Or is it just Miller being bored and deciding things would be more interesting if they had more model suffixes to market ?Thanks in advance for answering what is most likely a dumb dammed question .
Reply:You forgot "D" and your last question is probably the closest to the answer. The way I read it is "G" denotes Gas powered (petrol or propane), "D" of course is Diesel and someone once stated "NT" stood for New Tradition or something like that with the fully enclosed wrapper.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
Reply:Thanks Duane  I guess I had not seen ( or noticed ) the D variant . I just knew that i could not see a difference is the specs for the various suffixes as far as utility went .
Reply:The 225G Plus has a little more auxiliary power output but weld performance is virtually identical throughout the 225 series as I recall.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
