I'm strongly considering purchasing a new Hobart Ironman 230 from NorthernTool.It is currently selling for $1649.99 with a spool gun which I don't believe I will need.If I decide to put the spoolgun on Craigslist, what is a realistic price to ask since it would be brand new (unused)? New spoolguns seem to be selling for about $500.00. Does $400.00 sound a reasonable asking price?Area of sale will be Dallas, TX.Thanks for all your advice!
Reply:I'd say closer to 300, but that's just my opinion. I'd keep it if I were you, unless you have an AC tig welder, so you can weld aluminum. You never know when you might need it.
