Dialarc 250 AC/DC wiring question

Bought an older dialarc cheap with no power cord, opened up the panel and the terminal block has no marking for the hot wires. I'm running an 8/3 white, green and black lines. Just wondering which one goes where. Looking forward to firing the old girl up!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Reply:Take the serial number off the machine (should be on the face plate) and go to Miller's website and download the manual for your machine. Reply:Terminal block should have a row of small (#10) studs and nuts. With one or two jumper bars. Below these should be two 1/4x20 studs. these are the line connections. Should be a third stud or blot next to the terminal board on the bracket or case of welder. Green ground goes here. Look at data plate and see what voltages this welder can be run on.This we tell us how to set the jumpers up. Get the owners manual and it will show you. There are several charts and you have to match he chart to your machine data plate voltage.

Reply:Make sure yours is not a 575 volt machine. The jumpers line up different and will blow line fuses if set up wrong.  Two basic machines 208/230/460 and 230/460/575.Only your data plate will tell you which you have.
