Problem faced while simulating FSW on DEFORM 3D

Hi, i am Ph.D. student from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India working on modelling of friction stir welding. I am using DEFORM 3D for simulations. I am getting a groove behind the tool in traverse phase. Not able to get the answer for the above problem. Groove should not appear as i have got good weld for the same parameters.Can any one help me in this regard. This is my e-mail id [email protected]. I have the key file for the same.
Reply:Ouch! Well, I used to think I was kind of smart. So much for that misconception!!! You'll probably need someone to respond to this that can get past the "Hi, I am a Ph.D. student from..." which leaves me out!
