Athletic Pulling / Pushing sledI have seen these for years but never worked out on one until recently. What a great workout! My legs and butt  were on fire. In my youth I did Olympic style weightlifting and powerlifting. I still train pretty hard but pulling this thing around a parking lot with a bunch of weight stacked on it kicked my BUTT.  It is made mostly out of ½ flat stock. Reply:Very nice! I've made two of these myself, for local MMA clubs. My only suggestion for production would be using round stock for the "V" shaped attachment bar. It will wear on the rope( if that's what's used) less. Reply:Your sled is VERY nicely done. For price comparisons you should check out rogue fitness. This type sled is used often in the crossfit world, we call them prowlers. Here is one that I built out of scrap 304L.

Reply:Not sure exactly but I think it was in the $170 neighbourhood. It was years ago.  Skis like yours but with a round bend, the risers were facing the across the skis and were 1/2" x 1" flat. Front cross bar was 1/2x1" flat with a 1/2" round half-circle to hook rope to. Back bar was a double post "T" handle they were putting bike grips on. plate post was black pipe. Recall thinking I should have charged more, but live and learn and cash is cash. You could also offer "standard" and "industrial" strength versions to give the buyers budget options. Maybe the back handle could be a separate purchase they can buy later to ad on.
