Another Grinder Stand...... this one for my neighbor

My across the street and neighbor and co-worker liked my bench grinder stand:http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=110761So he asked me to build him one..... only different than I designed..... He wanted it without casters and the specification was "Take as little room in my garage as possible"..... so I designed and gave him my idea.... he tweaked it.... then brought me steel from work.....Here we go:The steel he gave me and the grinder in question...... Reply:I got to use the plasma cutter to cut the top and bottom, and gussets..... and had lots left over..... Score!Lots of rust.... so I had lots of grinding and flapping to do..... Reply:I tacked the bottom up with the MIG (small 110 V unit that tripped my breaker today)......Then I stick welded the bottom out with AC 7018 rod on my new Lincoln Squarewave.... Reply:I was running out of time.... or maybe I was just getting tired.... so I MIG welded the top part.....This is where I tripped the breaker (second pic)...... Apparently 110 V outlet doesn't like to go past the 20% duty cycle of this little machine..... Reply:Looks like ya done good on it, is it going to get painted? In the future you may want to consider cleaning the rust off BEFORE cutting out the small parts. It's alot easier to clamp and clean one large piece than multiple small pieces. Is the MIG on a dedicated 20 amp breaker? If not then that's where the tripping problems are coming from. If it's on a 20 amp breaker and other things are on it too, make sure they are off/unplugged before using the MIG, just make sure to repower them after welding especially if it's a freezer or refrigerator.
