Many have probably seen these already, but just in case you haven't, I'll share.  The credit for posting  these beauties as far as I can tell,  goes to "Sberry" from millerwelds.com (post #4)  Now why didn't I think of these two technologically advanced designs???Here's the original thread...http://www.millerwelds.com/resources...-welding-carts Attached Images "Hey I didn't come to look and learn, I came to turn and burn.... Reply:I've never seen these before.  The shopping cart one surprised me and got me laughing.  Thanks for posting.
Reply:Those are hillarious!  The shopping cart gives an entirely new meaning to the word, "welding CART."  It would be funny to get a bumper sticker on the mower-cart that read: "Hecho en Mexico."  Thanks for posting! Reply:Those are brilliant.  I like the grocery cart so much I may make one up.  It would solve some frustration I have with my freebie Northern Tool cart. This is one of those head slap moments.

Reply:Once upon a time I had a smooth garage floor and a borrowed SP-100.  Found a broken office chair in the alley, tossed the cushions, bolted a 9x18 piece of 3/4" plywood thru the welders feet and thru the base plate for the seat cushion.  Was remarkably simple and effective.    Simpler than the one shown.  The plate was tilted and the height was adjustable.  Could easily move it around a project just by pulling the gun lead.  Sorry no pics, that was back in the Kodachrome days!   Attached Images

Reply:I gotta ask.  Anybody else besides me have a problem with stealing a $400 item from your local grocery store and using it for personal use?  Now, if you purchase one directly from the grocery store from their recycled stock, thats a different story. The one you bought at the junk yard.. that one some else already stole.  So, no, that doesn't whitewash it clean either.I'm kinda like.. am I the only guy looking at this the right way?  Note: not sure if the $400 price is accurate or not.. if you were going to mass produce grocery karts, how much would you charge?  Its got to be in the ballpark.  --zip
Reply:They are not stolen for the local grocery willie nillie. Vermin that steal these carts many times toss them into ditches when they are done using them. Most of the ones I have seen are beyond repair to place back into service.

Reply:My first MIG( miller sidekick) I had a grocery cart with the front of the basket sawed out of it , don't remember where I got it. Have and Aldi cart at work in the Firehouse because some low life dumped it on the bank of the Firehouse yard. It's brand new as is the Aldi's in the next town over. I called the MGR. of the store 3 times now to see if he can send their maintenance guys over with a truck to get it but so far no one showed. Meantime I wheel stuff around the bay with it.
