I need to build a cable crimper. Basically, a dohicky you slide the cable in the end, Put it in the tool and smack it with a hammer.  I know I have seen one on here someone built. I seem to think it was forhire. But cant seem to locate the thread. I am not even sure what the thing is called. But I seem to remember it looked a little like this.http://www.lancairlegacybuilder.com/...G2%20Cable.JPGAny help?If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. Reply:Yep something like that. Only this will be for I guess it would be wire rope, not electric cable. I got a metric buttload of ends to crimp on lengths of twisted cable.  I think they are some kind of throttle cables. I know it is NOT for lifting.
