I was browsing my local craigslist and found this. Is it worth the price? This would be a cc machine, right?http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/tls/4239354929.htmlSent from my C811 4G using TapatalkLast edited by Justme; 01-05-2014 at 02:55 AM.
Reply:That is a CC machine.AC only welder. Those were good old ac welders. In my opinion, that's an average price for one of those machines.$100-$150 is where I'd expect it to be priced.Last edited by snoeproe; 01-05-2014 at 07:29 AM.JasonLincoln Idealarc 250 stick/tigThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52Miller Bobcat 250Torchmate CNC tableThermal Arc Hefty 2Ironworkers Local 720
Reply:That's on the high side. Around here, I figure the small AC machines are $50. - $150., and the higher price should have a couple extras."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
Reply:For the premium price everthing goes for in Seattle it isn't a bad deal. Especially if it has good heavy and long leads. However you should really hold out for a dc machine. Farmer2
