Before I buy a drive roll for my Hobart 210MVP to run .024 wire, I see in the parts list it shows a .023/.025 liner. does this mean I also need a new liner to run .024 wire or will it work fine in the .030/.035 liner ?
Reply:The liner is fine.Check your drive roll.....I think it's a .023 on one side and .030/.035 on the other.
Reply:the one that came with mine is a .030/.035 on one side and then a knurled .030/.035 on the other side.
Reply:You may need a new drive roll set and contact tips, but the liner will work for .023-.035. The number facing you should be the size you are running.

Reply:The way I understand it, when it comes to the smaller sized wires(.023,.024,.025),the manufactures never agreed on a standard size. .023-.025 rollers, tips, liners all work together.
Reply:The HH210 gun is a M-10 same gun that is on all the Hobart and Miller welders 140-210 and 140-211. No need to change the liner, just the roller and the tips.... 024 for the tips. You can find the tips at any Tractor Supply or Northern Tool or any Miller Dist. As stated B-4 .23-.024 are the same... when it comes to tips.
