Reply:If you can find out what brand the pipe was you could very likely find a buyer on Ebay for it.  That is a total bummer that he flaked out on you. looks like you have some serious time into it.

Reply:There is a huge market for pipe holders, an old friend of mine has been making a respectable living doing it for a while now. His other friend is a glassblower and they have a shop doing nothing but all day long.
