So I suckered and bought a Trek 180 - so far, so good. But, there's times I use it inside, and I want to hook up to a bottle. Is there a standard quick-disconnect for CO2/C25 that I should use? I could get away with a regular air coupler, but I'd like to stay as close to "normal" as I can. Thanks!
Reply:I use a regular Milton air connector. And since I have a suitcase, I bought a Goodyear hose to be used just for argon. As far as "normal", I don't think there is one like for regular air hose and/or torches."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:Its ok but use a quality 1/8th or 1/4 inch coupler. Also; http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...ick+connectors
Reply:Western makes a Inert Gas-Hose to Machine coupling (Part QDB34).I have had good luck with them (much more positive than an air line connector) and use them on all my welders.Syncro 250 DX Dynasty 200 DXMM 251 w/30A SG XMT 304 w/714 Feeder & Optima PulserHH187Dialarc 250 AC/DCHypertherm PM 1250Smith, Harris, Victor O/ASmith and Thermco Gas MixersAccess to a full fab shop with CNC Plasma, Water Jet, etc. |
