A simple book shelf made out of 3/4" and 5/8" sq tubes (10"x24"x30"). Design is a industrial look. The outside is grinded with 120grit and the inside mostly untouched including the heat tints.Painted with acrylic clear coat. All welded with MM211, 0.035", 3 on the Voltage dial, 30 on the wire Speed dial.Shelfs are 20g sheet, bended with the HF 30" bender:Shelfs are tacked from the inside to the frame. Thanks for looking!
Reply:I welded two bolts the base of that bender, drilled two holes and bolt that thing down when I bend stuff.. a lot easier then clamps.. Nice shelf btw.www.thefusionsolution.com

Reply:Thanks for your comments! The HF bender is not that bad. The bend has quite some radius for a 20g sheet, but thats OK for this purpose. The shelfs are 2' wide and needed support in the middle during the bend. Otherwise the bend radius of the middle section would be ever larger.

Reply:Hey Jürgen, nice book shelf. Love the finish. I'm currently working on a book shelf as well, so i gotta ask, are there any supports under the 20g sheet?

Reply:have you load it up with books yet? I'd be interested to see how your design workedthe book shelf i'm building is 78" wide, and with no center support. When I loaded it with books, it would sag about 1/2" at the center. I considered a design similar to yours, I think it would require 1/8" plate. With 8 shelves, it would probably make my floor collapse
