I work at Lowe's and we just hired a retired union pipe welder. He asked me if I wanted his old welding gear(didn't think any of it would fit since hes small). So I though well I will probably give some of it away to people that it fits. Came in today, saw him, he came up to me said he had the stuff(about 3 weeks later) I was like cool Ill go pick it up out of his vehicle on my lunch break. I get the box then go to eat, come back and tried the jacket and the hats on, all of it fit. I scratched my head and was like what the, he is like 130 lbs and 5"3 or something. I am 220 5"9. All of his stuff fit me. Guess he liked his gear big. But enough jabbering and onto pictures(crappy ones but they will do).The fibre metal hood, burn goggles, and tons of filter plates cheaters, and front cover lens.All the welding caps, and 2 esab atom arc doo rags. Tons of tungsten, looks like stubby and regular gas lens, back caps, cups. A temp stick. screen filters, some flints.The attached pic is the 2 tillman leather sleeve cotton torso, and 1 full leather + some old esab heliarc red tungstens, gloves and a scratch brush.Pretty good deal? Reply:He just might of had one of the blue lens. He did say he was keeping one hood for memorabilia. Or to sell for a chunk of change haha. He said he would teach me when I asked.
