Hi, I just bought an Invertig 221. I have a Pro pulse 300, I'd like to put them together on one cart. I've already experienced what high frequency can and will do to electronic devices nearby. Cost $800 to replace a board on my brand new LN 25. So can I ground the machine and be safe, or separate carts? Haksa

Reply:I have my Invertig right next to my ProPulse 300.  Never had any issues, although I suppose that doesn't answer your question.  The machine case is grounded via a short ground wire on the inside, granted it is not a separate actual ground path, but still "eventually" is connected to ground.Last edited by Oscar; 10-13-2020 at 07:48 AM. 1st on WeldingWeb to have a scrolling sig! Reply:Hi, I been to busy to build a dual cart, that will come later this winter. I was worried about the HF burning up the board in my Pro pulse 300. As I said earlier I had a costly lesson.Haksa

Reply:Hi, Yes I have, with just 75/25. As far as the welder goes, like I told Pete at HTP, It's the best, smoothest, most adjustable machine I've ever used. I've been around a long time.haksa

Reply:I can't see how it could be smoother than it is. But I don't need a bunch of bottles around.
Reply:The PP300 is one of the best all around mig welders I have used as far as arc quality thick and thin, both steel and aluminum. For steel I run C10 on short arc and pulse. The machine has plenty of power.ESAB Rebels 215 and 235, ESAB HELIARC 281i, ESAB ET 301i, Hypertherm 85 and 45XP, Thermal Arc 185, TD 60i, HTP PRO PULSE 300
