im looking to get on a pipeline. Any one know of any looking for new hands. i have never been on a line but im willing to give it my all. any thing will help!

Reply:They don't let just anybody weld on a pipeline, what's your background and what does your truck look like? Better not have any ladder racks on it...edit: I looked at some of your previous posts, I would say you need to start at buying some pipe and practicing your downhill welding. Those pipeline guys are real cliquey, and the inspectors are pretty much dicks.
Reply:Yea timmy, i need to get on that i have some pipe 6in i need to get me some 7010, 8010 rods and start. my machine is on the rig im working at right now so i cant get on that yet. i dont know any pipeline welders to show me how its really done. anyways thanks for the help |
