Ami 207a inputac-fault

Hello all,I am using an AMI 207a Orbital welder.I am welding a 2" tube 0.065 using a 9-3500 weld head.The welding was going well thanks to some useful help I got from some fellow members on the forum until I started getting (Im not sure what is in in English) but the end of the weld looked as if it didnt have a "minus" or not enough gas....grey and rough A couple welds later the welder kept giving me an INPUTAC Fault meaning it cant reach enough power to start the weld.I opened the weld head and found no problems at all....The Ami207a is working fine with any other weld head I connect.What might be the problem?!?!?!?Thanks all!!!Alon
Reply:If the weld head isn't centered enough to allow full oscillation it will throw a fault.That's our most common fault.

Reply:I'm saying that if the torch isn't centered enough to allow full oscillation for the pass your trying to run it will throw a input fault. Check that the torch is centered up and try again. Keep me posted.
Reply:Ok,excuse me if ask stupid questions,Im having trouble learning all these technical words in englishI am currently on vacation so only next week Ill get to keep trying to fix the prob.(forgot to mention tungsten gives a tiny tiny tack then the fault happens)If I understand correctly the torch is the part of the weld head that rotates with the tungsten.What I need to do is move the stopper on the torch so when it touches the micro switch at the end of the test the torch is in the exact centered position...Am I talking B.S or understanding correctly?Thanks allot!
