I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good brand of tig torchI won't be using it flat out, so would an air cooled be good enough? Are there specific torchs for dc only or ac/dc?Ty in advance for any quick informationGreatly appreciated ( I don't have a machine, just to use it at work in spare time)
Reply:There's a lot of good info in this thread. See if some of this will answer your questions.weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=66311As far as DC vs AC/DC, you can use any torch on either, but many torches have a lower duty cycle if used on AC..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I bought a Radnor 17 for my portable. uses the same consumables as the weldcraft on my syncrowave 200. Have not used it a lot, but it paid for itself on the first job I did with it. I think I paid around $130 for it and 50' of gas hose |
