I've got the spray gun equipment but just not sure what type of paint to use.I'm not wanting anything spectacular but I want it to be somewhat chemical resistant and chip resistant. I prefer no rattle can paint jobs as those cost too much long term. I also would prefer to avoid any paint that will kill you just for looking at it wrong.
Reply:Go to an automotive supply that handles paint and body stuff or go to a PAINT STORE (not the 'tard magnets like Bloze,Ace,Homeless etc) and talk about their lines of industrial paints.Nearly every company will have something in their lineup for you.Bubble gumTooth pixDuct tapeBlack glueGBMF hammerScrew gun --bad battery (see above)
Reply:Oil based alkyd enamel. I use Dunn Edwards
Reply:I use a product called ALK-200 sometimes. It is an industrial coating that works well and is not very expensive. It has an activator called ALK-201.Here is a link to a pdf file: http://www.bapspaint.com/docs/psheet...lic_Enamel.pdfGravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference. |
