90 Degree gas fitting

My welding cart is small and the gas fitting on the back of the welder is uncomfortably crammed against the tank.  Can I install a 90 degree fitting on the back of the welder to reroute the hose without messing up anything?

Reply:Thanks.  Yeah, there's just a female connection on the back.  I'm not sure of the thread size at the moment, but that easy enough to figure out.
Reply:Fitting may be a flare type fitting vs a NPT pipe thread. Should be easy to tell since you have the hose that attaches to it. Flare fittings though are a bit harder to locate though. You may find something at your welding supply. Hydraulics shops also have a selection of flare types and sizes..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
