I had a guy bring me a tractor he wanted to be able to push his hay wagon with the front of his tractor. So i thought about it and drew up some plans he wanted to be able to remove the weights and the attachment. Heres what i came up with let me know what you guys think.  its bolted behind the weights with 4 bolts. I did add a gussets to the piece were it hooks up to i had a brain fart and painted it and took pics before i got them welded on,trailblazer 302 spoolmatic 25a with wc-24thermal arc 161s tig rigmillermatic 200dialarc 250 hf tig rig with spool gun and boxand wanting more......
Reply:I made a similar hitch for our 2900L Kubota. Works great for moving augers, wagons, etc. around the yard when the 3-point hitch mower is on the back...Andrew
Reply:That will work..Long time ago there was this guy that ran a boatyard with all sorts of trailers everywhere..Had a older F-250 with the Fisher plow set up before minute mounts..Made a frame that went into the plow receiver and put a trailer ball on it and he would just drive up to the trailer and hook it to the ball and just pick it up like a plow and put it wherever he wanted..Ingenious!...zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:That's a good build. I have to move trailers around my place fairly often and I always hook them to the front of an old Ford tractor.  Much more manuevrable then doing it off the back end and easier on the neck.
Reply:That's how I move trailers around my yard. I have a ball attachment for my Skid steer.

Reply:Looks good, trial and error. It looks like a 2wd compact tractor so you should be good! Nice job I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:My neighbor/father in law just removed a bolt from the blade of the skid steer and puts a ball in it's spot. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger
Reply:That looks good but I am surprised you were able to weld to the original bumper, isn't that cast iron?Ken
Reply:Nice work. The only thing I would add would be another peice of flat stock across the bottom front  to "box" and stiffen the plate the "hitch tab" is welded to. It may be fine like it is, but I can see the front plate "bowing" inward if he pushes to hard.If he's pushing a wagon and not a trailer, then there won't be any tounge weight to worry about, and "lift" won't be neccessary. Using a hitch on the 3 point makes moving trailers around much easier since you have lift back there.
