Hey whats up ya, though I would share some pictures of the welding rig my cousin and I are putting together. He just bought an '05 Gmc 3500 dually, diesel, 4x4 ect... The first thing we did is remove the factory bed and install a welding bed that he had on his '94 f350. With some modifications it worked okay except the center of the wheel fenders are off by a couple of inches. Some handles I welded for himReelRelocated filler neckHe is kinda of in a hurry so it can start making him some money. So right now we are only working on mandatory stuff...well kinda of .

I am a Chevy man until the day i freaking die - hence the user name Silverado...The 2005 Duramax has the second generation LLY motor which is known for fueling/fuel injector issues (much less than the 2001-2004.5 LB7 motors). This is caused by the lack of a real fuel pump, sometimes they cant draw fuel fast enough and a little bit of air gets in the rail and causes fuel to slam the injector nozzle, amongst other things. I would suggest you guys throw an electric lift pump (fass, air dog, etc...) on there especially because shes gonna be a little heavy with the rig body and welder. Ask me how i know? I have a 2002 Duramax that i bought as an immacualte one owner truck (180k miles) with full maintenance records for its whole life... i thought about doing the pump because i do alot of towing but i didnt because i figured hey if they made it this far why would they quit now? Flash forward 9 months... my truck is parked in because the injectors are so bad it smokes to the coals, has no power and burns ALOT more fuel than normal. Replacing the injectors costs $4,500 at the stealership... about $3,000 if i waste 2 days of my life changing them myself...Miller Dynasty 300 DXMiller CST280Miller Maxstar 150 STH
