Hard hat for a Pipeliner.

Anyone know of any specific hard hats that fit a Pipeliner? Or am I going to have to settle for a Tigerhood?Big F**king HammerJumper cables & 2 marine batteriesJaws of life
Reply:fibre-metal made a hard hat (only seen it in blue) that had welding shield adapters that fit on corresponding cup fittings on the shield. these bolted on and would probably fit the pipeliner.i.u.o.e. # 15queens, ny and sunny fla

Reply:I don't have any hard hat adapters left, but I have some hard hats still. Two Fibre-Metals and a Jackson. The Fibre-Metal Tin hat looks like it would fit the best, but they are no longer legal. Reply:I've put the pipeliner on a fibre metal hard hat. Most times I gut the hard hat liner, cut a "d" shaped hole for pipeliner head gear and weld awaySent from my SGH-M919 using TapatalkLong after the price is forgotten, the quality will remain.Both of my Poppy's 1954 Short Hoods -Third generation to weld with it and teaching a fourthSA 2## - Bought and sold more than I can remember or care to list, 8 in the shop right now
Reply:I've been on jobs where they wouldn't allow anything but 8-point suspension liners in the hard hats. Also been on Army Corps jobs where we were not allowed to wear our hard hats backwards, except only while welding. Reply:I made it about 3 months in Pascagoula Chevron for KBR using my soft cap hood. They never noticed. I had the safety lady talking to me once while I had it on and she never snapped.
