Small repair job on a boat railing. Welds were cracked in a few spots,Started to rain with some wind as well and since the job was outdoors it was a small problem but we got a tarp and some wind coverage and got the job done.The owner was very happy with the work. 20-22ga SSTig welded @ 40-50 amps1/16 2% tungsten Attached Images
Reply:Here a few more projects, The first one is a stainless steel roller cart base that gets a plate welded to the inside which is drilled and tapped for casters to then be mounted underneath.The base is 14ga and the plate that gets welded inside is 1/4'', had a 3/8 copper heat sink all around.3/32 2% tungsten with 316L fillerHad to make 48 of these base's with 2 plates per base.Second project is a small ladder frame.1'' sq tube, 1/8 in wall- SteelTig welded, outer welds ground flushI have more pictures of these projects plus others that i will try to get up soon.Thanks for looking-Bill Attached Images |
