Another one of the quickie fixes to get the truck on the road.  It didn't have a battery cover on the battery box.  This earned me a nice fat ticket on the original trip home with this gem 1/8 diamondplate, and some angle......................At least this is legal now   (batteries aren't tied down, but maybe the new lid will hide the fact )It's coming togetherThis engine is supposed to have 3 batteries (one sits on the other side of the cab), but 2 batteries is enough to fire it up in warm weather."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:I have a mudflap on top of my battery's just as cheep insurance for no real reason to myself.    Its one that was gracefully removed when tire met curb in that lovely rom-com sort of way.     Plus should some craziness arise i can always use the mud flap for a secondary purpose.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
