Base for my drill pressHeres the drill press, I made leveling feet for the base also, just barely visible in the photoSome stock racks, I have three more of these to mount, in storage with the rest of my stuff after the divorceGrinder/Sander stand, built this about 15 years ago for just the grinder, then came into the sander for free, just needed a couple bearings. So I revamped the stand with a new larger top made of plywood wrapped with sheet metal, and added some shelf rails for adjustable shelves inside, and added a door also.Parts washer, made from 16 gage, had a local shop break the "tub" into a "U" shape, and shear the ends, I welded it all together. They broke the edges on the top also. It has a coolant pump in the bottom of the tub with a spin on fuel filter, and I made a manifold so you can use just the fluid, or a brush with fluid going through it. I used Loc Line for the lines. I also made the switch box for the lighted switch.
Reply:Nice job. Sorry to hear about your freedom.
Reply:There are a lot of ways to look at freedom. To some people freedom is the exact opposite of someone else's freedom . Or time changes the meaning of freedom also. Iike my first divorce I almost died of all the unwanted freedom to feed my kids and wash their pants and work everyday while paying a babysitter. But my last Divorce was heaven indeed and that was 22 years ago. and I am still free and enjoying every bit of it. WOOOHAA. Mac
Reply:Projects look great, I like the paint scheme that was kept consistent. I too divorce after 16 years, now I have a wonderful soul-mate that supports everything I enjoy...and I have two boys (8 mos) that I wanted and never got. The change was good for me, now I have two that will soon enjoy my hobbies too.
