cost and availability of SS

I've got some projects in mind for my boat.  I saw some 1.5" ID 304 SS pipe/tube that is polished and wrapped in plastic for $3.79 a pound.  A 10' stick weighed 10#.  I did not load up because I only have 1.5" tubing (OD) dies for my bender.  Probably at that price it might be worth while to buy correct die if it's available for my JD2 bender.Just curious what I should expect to pay for 304 and 316 tubing?  Also, any ideas on where to buy in Cali?   Looking at maybe 100' total length.
