A friend brought me a relatively high end wood stove with a leg broken off and asked me if I could weld it back on for him. The break is a couple inches where the leg attaches to the stove between the end and where the leg bends down. I am assuming usual procedures for welding cast apply but thought I'd ask just the same on what the best approach would be. The metal is about 3/16" thick. Thanks for your help.Steve in Central TX

Reply:[QUOTE=Oldiron2;1121451]Guess you never had the kind they once used to hold the Space shuttle Tiles on with! You mean the last shuttle to blow up because a piece of styrofoam struck and busted a few "super glued" tiles????Good stuff.Last edited by SuperArc; 05-05-2012 at 04:12 AM.Lincoln Power Mig 216Lincoln AC/DC-225/125Miller 625 X-Treme PlasmaMiller 211 Forney 95FI-A 301HF 91110Victor Journeyman O/PMilwaukee DaytonMakita Baileigh NRA Life Member
