I am going to buy 50' of  #1 cable and was wondering if any one knows any good or bad about the two companys I am looking to buy from, both of  the companys cables are made in the USA . One is from Temco Industrial Power Supply and it is  called easy flex.  The other one is from  AC/ DC Electricparts Co. and it is called Royal Excelene and they say it is very high flexibility cable. mike

Reply:The best price I've seen by far is from Electron Beam Technology, in Kankakee, hellinois. My buddy bought some there and said it was nice shtuff. I am going to be placing an order there in the next couple days. This month, # 1 lead is selling for $1.39 per foot. And orders over $250 ship $free.99Last edited by Stick-man; 02-13-2014 at 07:18 PM."Where's Stick man????????" - 7A749"SHHHHHH!! Reply:So I bought an old Century 295 amp stick welder.  With no leads.  My immediate challenge is to find the plugs that fit into the machine.  What are they called and where do I get them?  Also, since it is pretty old, if I have to substitute, what would be the fittings I should get?

Reply:I've heard them called Century plugs. I've also read that the old miller welders used the same style of connectors, but I can't say for certain. I would start looking by calling around to all the local welding supplies. Then I would start searching ebay (or google since I only seem to get online shopping results whenever I google something anymore) for any combination of: welding, welder, century, miller, cable, lead, plug(s), connector(s), terminal(s), quick disconnect(s)
Reply:I think the LENCO UP-10 Plug  works with the Century.many other web sights say the same as these two,  http://www.ebay.com/itm/LENCO-UP-10-...-/390537685064http://www.arc-zone.com/index.php?ma...FYNcMgodXEoA0A
