Got Another Table

I found a table on Craig's list , 4' x 4' x 1'' thick top that the guy had posted 5 weeks ago. It even has set screws for leveling. Naturally it was over 200 mile round trip but worth it even figuring the gas. It needs to be cleaned up and I need to add my personal touches to it. He started out at $500.00 which was the original posted price on the phone. I said no way and he went to $400.00 . I said that I'm gonna have a $100.00 in fuel. So, he asked for my offer, I said $300.00. He said no  go $350.00. I said no an that I would rather drive Interstate the two lane roads. Goodbye. Well half hour later he called and said I could have it for the  $300.00.           It's nice having a electric chain hoist too. Easier then using loader tractor.

Reply:Wow!!!That top is worth the $300 easy....A 4'x8' sheet of 1inch steel is $1300.....Not to mention that square tubing is $14 per ft.....Nice score.... Reply:Thanks guys. The seller was happy I came to get it. I was even happier for only $300.00.  . I asked what he had to load it with. Ahhhhh, neighbor has a loader tractor but it will only lift it two feet. I said well now I gotta bring my trailer instead of setting it in my truck. So that helped me too.I'm gonna paint it ''KEYSTONE BLUE '' in honor of one step WELDERMIKE !
