Best place to buy replacement tig hoses

Yesterday I put a hole in the power hose of my I have a weld-craft wp-20 torch with 25' hoses.  Had it been the return line I could have easily fixed it. But the power hose has a wire in it. I called the two LWS houses... and I use the term "local" loosely because both are an hour away. One didn't stock any hoses or torches and the other had a Radnor complete setup. I didn't care about price... I had a part on the table. I told them I'd be walking in the door 5 minutes before they close and I jumped into the car. When I got there it had vinyl hoses.  I didn't even know they did that. I dropped $150 bucks and left. I should have known some corners were cut... because the price sounded a bit cheap. I needed a torch so I guess vinyl was better than nothing.I get back to the shop and start to uncoil the hoses. Stiff and unruly. Made a big rats nest. I eventually got it into the sheath and hooked up. What a piece of stiff worthless pile of junk.  I've had to change my technique they are so stiff.  I guess it will get me by for a couple of days.So I'm going to order new hoses today. Who has the best quality, fastest shipping,  and a fair price?
Reply:HTP has the 25', CK Worldwide,  wp20 complete torch and hose set for 170 delivered on ebay(I think their store name is weldersforless, or usawelds).  That is with the superflex hoses which I think are great.  I have bought from them before and they have been great.  You could call them direct as well.  I couldn't beat their price last time I bought a torch.Rene
Reply:I would get CK Superflex not sure if you can order direct from them but they are in Auburn Wa, I got mine from Central welding supply not sure who you have near you? Reply:look up arc zone they carry alot of ct parts they are located in San Marcos near San Diego they have been good at shipping and cuz they are on the west coast they will be open till 5 pm west coast time.
Reply:As long as you did not hurt the cable itself and it's just a hole with water coming out..Drain the hose out and take some Acetone and wipe down the hose where the hole is..Some good'ol electrical tape works great as a patch until you can get a replacement..Go around it for about an inch each way and get it good and tight..Been there done that many times..Even during a class I was holding once..There is no real pressure in the lines so it works good....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:forhire - you're generally in my neck of the woods (that is, Washington state.  )  The good news is that CK is headquartered here.  CK Superflex is what you want for replacement TIG lines.  If you can research the CK part number for the particular hose you need, it will make things easier to get that part.Central Welding does a lot of CK business, and can order as needed.  In my experience, they have real good prices on CK stuff also.  (Better than any mail-order or internet prices I've seen advertised... but maybe that's for my account.  )  I will say however, that getting them to quote a price on a CK special order item is like pulling teeth.  They apparently need to make phone calls to CK to figure out how much things cost, and call you back.  Why CK doesn't just distribute a "price sheet" to their dealers is beyond me.As another local alternative, try Kent Oxygen.  They are literally just down the street, about 10 minutes from CK.  If needbe, they (or you) can drive down the street to get what you need.  Or perhaps have it drop shipped to you.  I've actually driven to CK on their behalf to pick up a special order item before, but apparently since they're not really supposed to do that I was supposed to say that I was a "Kent Oxygen driver" when asked.  (Attached pic is a keepsake I have from that trip. )  They only time I've used them was when I was doing a welding job that was in their neck of the woods.  But if I lived closer to them, I would probably use them much more often. Reply:Jakeru, thanks for the photo and the reminder that CK is local. I clearly wasn't thinking straight yesterday.  I have a couple CK hand controls... their stuff is high quality. I've even talked to them on the phone a few times. I'll call Central back and have them give me a price. I bet if I give them my UPS number they can have CK drop ship directly to me.
