how to join ground cables?

I've got a new Lincoln 256 powermig. Works great, but the ground wire is too short. I've got an additional 8 feet of the same wire (#2/0) and want to join these 2 wires, then add the clamp onto the new end. I don't want or need to be able to separate the joint. Is there a connector to do this I can get? I have seen lots of lug style but don't really want to use that. How should this be done?

Reply:Yep, what AW & Bob sezd. I would put at least 2 layers of shrink for wear, maybe 3. You going to drag that thing around for a few years, no?
