I bought a YA2218 snapon. Got it cheap but I hear it is a dud. Anyone know about this brand? Thank you.
Reply:Snap-on doesnt make plasma cutters- they buy em with their name printed on them. Most Snap-ons are Cebora's, which is the Italian company that makes all the HTP welders and plasma cutters. A few of them were made by Century. Lincoln now owns Century, but most Lincoln dealers probably dont have parts for them.Parts are available for most of them, but you may have to scurf around a bit to find em.is it like this one?http://www.weldmart.com/CEBORA%20PAO...ION%20PAGE.htmthese guys- weldmart- would be a good place to start to try to find consumables. It is defintely an orphan, and that is why its better to buy Hypertherm or Thermal Dynamics when it comes to plasma cutters. But if it works, use it til it dont. |
