little project from yesterday

I make these every so often, along with fishing carts and various other work. Polished this set up nice. I'm using this set as advertisment on a local forum. Giving them away after a certain amount of time, for likes on facebook business page. Hope it works out.  Attached Images
Reply:Nice work! Just curious, why the different angles on the rod holders? With that mounted on a wall or bulkhead, will the rods still fit in the ones facing backwards toward the mounting brackets?Personally as a fisherman/boater, id rather have them all facing up. Very nice work though!

Reply:Just something to be fancy, they are more for the truck. Guys around here like them to lean backwards. The onces that are leaned foward look like that cause it wouldnt stand up on its own.some people just buy then for looks. Had one guy buy a set recently and didn't even fish or own a pole.@kei8masYep its sitting on the gf250. I'll stick some pics up here in a little bit when I get back home
Reply:Ohh I gotcha! So in the pic the ones that look straight up are actually raked back and the ones that look like they are raked forward are actually straight up and down once mounted. Makes much more sense to me now! I know lots of people like them raked back, but when I first looked at the pic i was trying to wrap my head around why anyone would like them raked forward. Well done man!

Reply:Yep for transport, down here by the beach peoples rods usually have long butt ends on them unless your jumping cars or big ramps with your truck they will never come out.
