mounting a vise to the bench

you would think this would be a simple,straight forward task. i saw an older thread here featuring a couple dozen vises of all sizes and makes bolted to the corner of the bench. although that's the easiest way to do it you have to lean over the bench to work on whatever it is you're fixing. on my bench i welded a pre-drilled plate to the corner and fit a piece of pipe from the bottom of that to the floor and anchored it with a 5/8th pin. now i have access to 3 sides. i have 2 vises on my bench a small one for light jobs and a heavy duty one for the bigger projects. on the larger vise leg i welded a hook to hang the stinger. Reply:great idea. i like it .just pull a pin to get it out of the way, never have to unbolt the vise..
