Marking with the plasma

If Mr. Colt is available I need your help sir. I have an HPR 400XD and I need to mark some material. I need it below the surface and I can’t seem to get it to scribe below the surface. I go to edit my letters change them to marking and put a depth of .0625. And it marks the same as if I didn’t put a depth. It doesn’t matter if it’s .0625 or .25”. Do you have any suggestions?
