Im looking for probably 12-15 sheets of aluminum or steel diamond plate. and i dont need it very thick. if its steel ill get it power coated, but im thinking .060 would work fine. i just want to make a 4 foot baseboard along my whole garage.just checking to see if any of you guys have picked any up lately before i start having to deal with the knuckle heads around town.

Reply:I can price online at my local steel supplier.Buying 12 4X8 sheets of medium pattern low carbon treadplate 0.0747" thick they would cost $63.84 each.12 4X8 sheets of diamond aluminum treadplate 0.063" thick they would cost $80.47 each.
Reply:If it is base board, I am assuming you only need strips. perhaps you can find a shop to get scrap. Aluminum you can cut with a skill saw/table saw...Constant Current Weldor.
Reply:easternmetal.com quoted me $170 for 4x10 x 1/8 aluminum bright treadamericanmetals.us quoted me $132 for same thing.if you get 1/16" thick price will be about half.needlesss to say I went with americanmetals for my last order.
