Looking at this kithttp://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170642692088and says it will fit the WP9 torch but mine is a CK9. Reply:WP is a Weldcraft part prefix, CK is for CK. Otherwise the same. In the cases I've seen, if the number is the same, (9, 17, 20, ETC) they are interchangeable.Enough stuff to build and repair wrinkled up race cars or bring a classic back to life...
Reply:The teflon insulator is different on CK torches than weldcraft, and not compatible with weldcraft or other brands.Everything else will fit (assuming it's manufactured properly), but that teflon insulator won't fit your CK torch. You'll need the CK teflon insulator, CK part number "2GHS"http://www.ckworldwide.com/form105/p2.pdf
Reply:That's handy info, thanks. I've got a Lincoln version of the WP9 and a Weldcraft WP17. The Weldcraft consumables including the gas lens insulator fit the Lincoln.Enough stuff to build and repair wrinkled up race cars or bring a classic back to life...
Reply:Correction/addition to my comment above:It looks like the same "2GHS" is used for the standard collet body as well as for gas lens on the 2 series CK torch, so if you already have one for the standard collet body, you could use it for the gas lens setup instead of the one you get with the weldcraft kit.http://www.ckworldwide.com/2series.pdf |
