Here are some flower vases I did about 20 years ago.  I have some more and need to take some pictures.  I had them in a showroom in the Trade Center in Dallas, but by the time they were marked up by everyone from the showroom, to the interior designers, they got to expensive to sell many of them. This is my favoriteHere's a smaller one,Here's some detail.
Reply:Cool design..are the vases bolted from the bottom?
Reply:3rd pic how did you get the cut slag to stay there, aluminum?
Reply:I welded the bottom of the tubing, with a piece of steel.  Then I burned a hole in the base plate and did a plug weld on the tube.  I put spacers between each level and started welding from the top piece to bottom piece in that order.  None of the welds show.  I pored a 1/2 inch of fiberglass resin in each tube to keep it waterproof. The entire vase is steel.  I just did sloppy torch work and didn't clean it up for the slag.  I hand brushed a silver on the torchcut ridges to highlight the definition.
Reply:Nice..and I wouldn't call it sloppy..
Reply:The design is A+ and super unique! Smooth, clean and very well executed!PlasmaCam CNC cutterLathe and Band SawClamps
