I am looking to purchase a bandsaw. I want one with a swivel head. I am looking at the Ellis 1600. Are there other saws to consider comparable to the Ellis?Requirements8" square cut, minimumswivel headprotableThanks
Reply:Looks like I wil be going with the Ellis 1600. I was contacted yesterday from an ebay seller. I was out bid on Sunday, though the winner could not comply. I was offered a second chance Monday. $1200
Reply:Dont know if they are available at your neck of the woods but we've got a Startrite horozontal it uses a 2504mm x20mm was made in England .Its 415v 3 phase big and heavy. We use it almost exclusively on Stainless, would recomend one to anyone . Pretty expensive though |
