I wanted a cart to hold my new Hobart 190 and my Lincoln stick welder. . I wanted to mount my cylinder on it too, and to hold a lot of other welding tools. . So, I bought a service cart from Harbor Freight.I had a couple L-shaped brackets that was used for a bike rack for a camper, and used that to hold my gas cylinder. . I also made a stand for the Hobart so it would be raised up above the sides so it would get some air.I cut some slots in a couple pieces of pipe to hold clamps, bent metal and made 4 cable hangers, made a rack for each side to hold gloves, wire brushes, hammers etc. etc.Took 2 pieces of pipe to hold my helmets, caps and respirator. . A piece of pipe to stick my MIG gun in!. . On the rack for the cylinder, I just take out 2 bolts and swing the angle iron out so I can change the cylinders.I need to buy some better casters. . The ones that came on it are junk! Here's some pictures. Reply:Can you give a clearer/closer pic of how you're storing the vice-grip pliers?
Reply:Looks good......I like the way you store the vise-grips.

Reply:Very nicely done!  I have been thinking about using a HF tool cart (either the 4- or 5-drawer model) as a cart to hold all my OA welding and brazing stuff.  I don't have room right now to put another cart in my workspace, but that is the plan.KevKevin / Machine_Punk from The Aerodrome Studio - Lincoln PowerMIG 210 MP - Meco N Midget w/custom welding station - Vintage Victor 100Current Projects: The Aerodrome Studio
Reply:Thanks everyone!. . I wanted a cart to hold everything I needed for welding and to know where everything is! And when I'm finished with gloves, brushes, hammers, helmets, etc. etc. Just hang them back on the cart.I started to build a cart, But thought I would try one of these service carts and for now I'm happy with it. . I may build a cart later on. Originally Posted by Dave1941Remember,,,,,,, what????   Seriously, I may have to borrow your tool rack idea.
